We are Heleen Maris and Wouter-Jan Quaak. We moved to the quiet region of the Lot in France at the end of May 2024 with our dog Mishka, which is just under half an hour’s drive from the Dordogne. We are the proud owners of Domaine des Étoiles. Meanwhile, we also have a cat Lily. Travelling is a passion of ours and Heleen has previously worked in tourism.

We are originally from the Hoeksche Waard in the Netherlands. Now that the children have left home, we have followed our dream to move abroad and start a chambre d’hôtes.
